Dyno facility in mumbai.... Finally !!

hey,

anyone know of a dyno facility in the city....... or a mod person who could work on remapping the engine. i have a lancer 1.5; thinking of doing a turbo and air intake kit by summer. i would like to know if anyone has done it already. my main concern is ....where in the engine bay can u find the space for the turbo and a new header...

i would welcome any contacts from a dealer ....

yeah it all depends how much your willing to spend.so right now is your car stock or you have modified it a bit ?? if you cant afford the turbo right now you could get a conical air filter and a free flow to boost your performance a little.for the time being.

all the best

Hey Amit,

If you want to mod lancers and honda's KS is the man to go to. I think he has the most experience in Mumbai as far as installing turbo's is concerned, but keep in mind that turbo's are expensive and a good setup should cost you upwards of 100k.

BTW he is installing a dyno pretty soon check with him for exact dates.

Has anyone dyno tested the bhp gain for K&N - free flow setup in a stock car in Mumbai? Asking out of curiosity among all these debates about Mental Horse Power vs actual horse power.

Hey,

There is no dyno as of now in Mumbai but is expected next month hence cannot give exact figures. However the gain is definitely there in the conical filters and can be felt very prominently ditto for the free flow.

Karan,

Thats great news!
Do tell us the type of dyno it is, or the make and model so we can get to know more about it.
