Re: Project M800 with F10A swap

Hey Noidaboy,

Great thing you did there, no one here dares to do things like this, u say you want to put a PS in your non PS car people say sell it of and buy one with a PS. I have see countless people asking questions about swapping their engines to get more bang for the buck, but people advise to buy a better car may be because the moding scene is still in the early stages here and hence the apprehenation. I am going to fit rear disks in my lancer the DIY way.

Re: Project M800 with F10A swap

OK, from now on IF I see a M800 outrunning me from a start, I'll have a fair idea who it might be.

Great mods done man! Great to see the M800, which I believe would be the first car for many of us, being treated like a king.

Few queries though
1.From the engine bay pics i am seeing you are still using the non-booster brakes, have you uprated your brakes?? or using the stock system and disc and pads?

2.Suspension is it stock? or something is there in the pipeline?
Pic's will be uploaded,

I have a brake booster installed earlier it self, So front disc and rear drums.

Suspension is stiffened, Works great. It goes like a go-kart

Re: Project M800 with F10A swap

The 15year oldie finally gets some more glory after beating bigger cars at a drag it just bagged 2ND position in the 1150>PRO>MODIFIED category at the Autocross 2010. The car's setup worked wonders. Hoping for improved performance in next years competition as well

Re: Project M800 with F10A swap

Congrats Sanyan.. Exactly what i wanted to do to my 800 after seeing a video some 3 years back in youtube which had been modified to a rear engine (I think it was an Italian who modified it). But since then it has just been a dream for me, but my aim of doing that project was lot different to that of yours. Feel happy for you to take up this work..I have'nt checked your video's, so have to check it out after going home to see the performance of your car.

Good work and if you dont mind giving the details about the cost it would be nice..

I have seen that too, But that requires alot of modification that car is of a different game altogether.
This ones more practical daily drive with least about of alteration to the body of any kind as of now.

Pricing again depends on what all parts you want what all you looking at.
