Powder coated head cover. The car should be back in 1-2 more days.

Fired up again after a few mods and tweaks, Took some test drives.

Now the problem comes down the gear box, The 5speed gearbox does not match the housing of the current grear box, Need shorter ratio's

suggestions?

The car is on its final stages for mechanical work, Its lot smoother the exhust has been re tuned for a better exhaust note and performance. Videos coming soon. The engine is revving very smoothly till 7k RPM.

Tyres have gone back to 12" from 13" as the alloys were causing alot of powerless. A lower tie bar has been added for weight distribution on cornering in the front.

The gear box is still the biggest issue. More R&D is required.

Congrats for the job done so far !
Can you also share what tuning in the exhaust were carried out ?
Was it a bolt-on free flow exhaust or did you re-route the entire exhaust pipe?

Down shifting on the wheel size is a good move. However, are there any wider section width tyres available in 12" ? Maybe you can have wider tyres in the front and regular in the rear (track days only)..

Will the tie rod suffice to stiffen up the car ? Any estimate on the torque increase you may be expecting with the swap ?

All the Best ! I will surely check out Phil's place the next time am in Delhi.. thanks.

I had the honour of having a short drive in this car. When you sit in it with the perception of a M800, you are flabbergasted when it takes off. Takes a while to get over the way she moves.

Kudos on the build Speedsport & Noidaboy !! Very off-beat & very exciting to see it go ! I hear you have been embarrassing much "larger cars" :-)

Cheers

Figures don't really matter to me, Only real time performance.

Oh, So you did have a TD, so you liked it? Little more tweaking and tuning is left. Let see how we end up. December is awaited now.

After a few week of R&D and testing, The car was sent back to workshop. The car performing excellent as per me but according to PHIL the only 4 speed gearbox was limiting the performance. Hence he went back to his lab and finally has redone the car all over again with

> High compression pistons,
> Ported head
> Knife edged crank
> Custom 5 speed gear box ratios
> Strut brace.
> Bigger clutch.
> Stiffer suspension.
> Beefier drive shafts.

Waiting for December and further runs

Oh wow so now your car will be amongst the killers at the REDLINE or what. Looking forward to see how it comes out.

Wonder when my Swifty will get an empty parking slot to get the desired work done.

Cheerio
