Hey Jignesh, wait a minute. Not 10kf or the full free flow and Magnaflow muffler. 10k only for the Magnaflow muffler. Headers and piping from Automech. Had spent 9500 for the full free flow setup from Automech. Couple of months later, removed the Automech Muffler and plonked in a Magnaflow cause I didn't like the Automech muffler sound.

P.S: Thinking of changing the headers too. A 4x1x1 SS straight pipe. What say? Are you gonna gimme some good deals?

Edit: If you guarantee me a decent increase in performance.

which car?

and when you got the freeflow did you specify that you wanted it to be loud or is there only one version?

Opel Corsa 1.4

Yup, I did specify that I wanted it to be loud. He said they had mild, mid and loud. But in the end, I was still not happy with the sound so I got myself a Magnaflow.

Come to think about it, it still won't be that expensive.

Headers with piping : Around 5-6k

Magnaflow muffler: 10k

Total : 15-16k

BTW, that's my muffler.

10k for a muffler? Wow. Thats a lot of money to pay for a stainless steel tube with chicken coop mesh and a load of glass-fiber inside it.

are magnaflow mufflers alone good enough to get a grunt? or is it necessary to mess around with the headers n pipes.

It makes more sense if you get a complete header and piping setup with the muffler.

adman... u got an idea as to how much it would cost to get the entire system in stainless steel right from the headers to the tail..? if its just for the sound alone a muffler shud be sufficient right. any suggestions?

For the sound alone, a muffler should be sufficient, but if you only want sound, I'd suggest you to go for something else than Magnaflow. Cause it'll be too expensive for sound alone. You can get a decent bassy imported muffler for 2500 to 5000. If you wanna go for the complete exhaust job, it should cost you around 6000 for good headers and piping and around 10,000 for Magnaflow muffler.
