sorry if am not posting in the right section..

we recently bought a 2007 w203 c200 k.. the car is spick and span but the only thing is tht the left orvm indicator led strip is broken..

and the automatic mirror adjustment works fine..but as soon as i release the button after setting the position..its just snaps back to a bit off position...i guess some holding mechanism has gone bad..

can these things be repaired and what will be the approximate price of installing an entire new assembly?

the last pic of the entire orvm is what i found on orvm..but unfortunately its a prelift w203s part with bulbs in the indicator and not the led srip alsoi need it to be i nsilver color..the housing is in good shape and tht need not be changed.

where can i find this stuff and get it done in mumbai in a cost effective way

You basically have two options:

- JUGAAD, and that's something local mechanics are extremely good at. Go visit Milan Subway and I'm sure you'll find a local pappu who will be able to fix things.

- Buy a new part from either Opera House, or order it online. Will work out at about a third of the cost of an authorised Mercedes shop.
