Optra magnum seating position should be same as octavia height i guess, though not measured nor compared but definitely not as swift's seat height. Time for you to take a test drive of optra magnum.

Thread subscribed!. Now, waiting for the detailed reports.

Apart from Light force HIDs, are you considering any other cosmetic mods?.

How about this, minus stripes on HL's + projectors?

re: Re-Mapped Optra Magnum TCDI. EDIT:Dyno Graph on Pg 4

@Mods - Please add to the title "Dyno Graph on Pg 4"

Finally got the Dyno Graph from Red Rooster racing and am happy with figures.

430.5 NM of torque
172.8 bhp

Re-Mapped Optra Magnum TCDI. EDIT:Dyno Graph on Pg 4-photo2.jpg

All in all money well spent.

Dyna pack does not have the facility to check 0-100 timing.

re: Re-Mapped Optra Magnum TCDI. EDIT:Dyno Graph on Pg 4

The peak torque is at 2500 rpm then it tails off but for the kind of drives we generally do i hoped the peak would be at 3500 rpm to see the difference, right now the second gear driving will be brilliant. Check with TDI guys if we can attain peak power and torque at 3500 rpm

Raj

re: Re-Mapped Optra Magnum TCDI. EDIT:Dyno Graph on Pg 4

Damn.Thats a lot of power in a very very small amount of money.A perfect 320 beater if its able to lay all that power down properly.

But i'm still wondering how you reviewed it as not a noticeable difference. This should classify as a locomotive pull.

No, I love the looks of sleeper car. Infact i dont want to put Light force HIDs aswell but i guess there is no other option right now to replace stock bulbs with HID. Even if we are able to replace stock bulbs with HID the reflectors are not that good. Lets see if we can get good options.

Yes, we can attain the peak power till 4000rpm provided we have sportz clutch. If you have dough you can go more than this. what he has given me is a conservative map. Time to collect money.

The difference is there, may be the Comforts of the car & Rectified handling is fooling me . Main reason why we drag to check the performance with other performance cars.

Good news sir, but dont you think your going to fry your clutch even more when you start off everytime with the current setting, with peak power at just 2500rpm?

Have you got your brake pad changed as yet, and how about a performance test on NICE this saturday night? we can have somebody time us.

Yes, It is going to stress the clutch but keeping the peak power till 4000rpm will stress even more. So till we get the performance clutch we have to live with this re-map.
