Never heard of 3 door Skoda Laura/octavia before. but i caught this 3 door Skoda laura in pune. may be it is customised. but i liked it.

Certainly does look like a mod job. The rear lines aren't that clean.
Not a fan, it doesn't add anything to the looks, infact it looks awkward.

Yea that does look like a mod job. The rear end seems to be disfigured!!
Also there isn't any 3 door Laura.

On a related topic, does someone remember a white Octavia Fastback Coupe that Arush designed for someone in Delhi? Basically a shortened chassis and just 2 doors.

Was in Gurgaon a few months back and found the car parked at the basement parking of Ambiance Mall. Took some time to admire the lines and the build quality! Now thats what I call a convincing mod.

Just curious : why would someone want to do this in the first place ? Case of too much cash and not knowing what to do with it ?

It looks down right weird. No manufacturer would launch something so hideous, where all the lines seem to be wrong not connected. Very poor mod job and the door seems abrnormaly large

A simple error and the design has lost its value post execution.


The door sill lines of the front door should have been followed at the back and also a c-pillar quarter panel look should have been implemented. Get these two sorted, blacken the b-pillar and the coupe look would have been complete. Me likes!

Edit : I wonder what fold-able seats he has used. Tata Sierra? lol

Looks like a photo shop Job to me, The door to rear glass mating is very weird. The door also seems to be longer than stock.

it is not a photoshop job mate. it was parked at westin hotel in pune.

Well never spotted this in pune. May be i will bump into it someday. After looking at most of reactions here, seems like its weird mod on 14Lakh plus car - something rear.

In my opinion, it is ok though not cool.

Exclusivity!! We all know there is no such thing called 'Skoda Laura 2-door' sedan .

Hardly the disfigured monster that it's made out to be. Some of the modifications made by our own BHPians are much more shock-inducing.

May be it was modded for purpose?
may be the owner is tooooooooo fat to get in from the stock door.
Or god forbid,some disability.
