Hey guys,

Any idea if K&N performance filter will have adverse effect on the car if taken on long drives( 500-600 kms).

I got K&N performance filter installed on my mpfi zen ( 2yrs, 30k done) and I am loving it. My only concern is that the guy who fixed it told me that the car may create probems if taken for loong drives as then the filter would start taking in hot air from the engine.

Is that true and if yes, what can i do to avoid it.
