NightBreaker cost 1625. Its better than Silverstar and also its going to come in the league of any 100/90 bulb. The osram person is telling that it will be even brighter than 100/90 bulb.
Regarding fogs they have a H11 bulb which is 55w which can be replaced for the in stock 35w h8 bulb which comes with swift. Night breaker for fogs has not yet been launched and it will take atleast 6 months. 55w h11 will cost 400 rupees.
For the people who want white/blue light which will make the car look trendy they have Hyper and Mega. Hyper is 5000Kelvin and Mega is 4300K. They are priced 1100 and 1000 respectively.
I alredy have silverstar on my car and I can tell you that the performance is much better than instock bulbs. I am planning to go for night breaker and 55w hll for fogs for my swift. I think this is the most hassle free replacement for getting better lighting for the car without touching the wiring. I think I will go there over the weekend to buy the bulbs. I will be able to give feedback after that.
Hi.

Excellent info on the Osram bulbs. However, are the the 55W H11 bulbs yellow or white? If white, what colour temperature? Are they a direct replacement for the H8 bulbs on the Swift or are modifications required?

Just got this piece of info.
Philips Extreme Power is currently not in stock in India. Expected in the next month, so distribution should start in April 08. Expected cost INR 1100-1200 per pair..

Narva Range Power White Vs Philips Blue Vision

Hi

Got a pair of Narva Range Power White H4 lamps (100/90W) for my Verna today and I should say the lighting is not what I expected (may be I am expecting something more after looking at all the Lauras and Bimmers!!).

Anyways, I want to try the Philips Blue Vision H4 lamps (60/55W) tomorrow and need input from you guys regarding these two brands.

Should I stay with the Narva lamps or should I go for the Blue Vision lamps?

And, I will get a relay installed if stay with Narva as they are rated 100/90W but if I go for the Blue Vision - do I need a relay as they are standard rating (60/55W) lamps.

Also I want to find out the size of fog lamps on my Verna and see if its possible to replace the stock fog lamps (they suck btw) with white lights.

Please advice.

Thanks

the blue visions will give out a more blue light but they will not be as bright as the narvas. if you want bmw type light then the only thing you can get are HIDs.

you are running the narvas and havent got a relay installed? please get it put on now. you wont need a relay for the blue visions.

with my Narvas, there is a little yellow light escaping the bulbs and is forming two narrow yellow beams on the road between the white light.

any solution to fix this?

the actual color of the Narva lights is yellow but the blue tint on it makes it emit white light.

the yellow is not due to parking lights, coz i replaced them with a pair of white lights.

I can actually see the Narvas yellow light clearly.

Another question. Does installing a relay and cut-out void my warranty? Is there any way to do it without voiding warranty?

If you can get the A.S.S. to do it. Some Tata dealers do it for Tata cars

Depends on Vehicles.
According to the MV Act, SUVs are allowed to fit Auxillary lights as long as they are not higher than a certain level, and confirm to the certain standards.
What is the level and what are the standards is a matter of national security and you have to get clearance from the President of India to know that.
