ok. What could be the price for Vision+ for 100/90 for white lights? I already have the relay with me. Buying from ebay would make any sense? And, importantly what would be typically the life of these bulbs?

The last one ( phillips some thing-white lights, 100/90) didnt even last me 6 months. Now i am back to the yellow ones of 100/90 but it aint that good

Hi mobike,
Vision+, Crystalvision, Diamond vision, Ultra vision, etc. series of Philips have got only 55/60 watts category in the market. I doubt if they produce these series with higher watts. None of these need relay as they are equal to the stock bulbs. The actual performance by all these vary car to car based on the reflector type, lense, levelling device etc. which are all discussed in this thread in detail on the previous pages.

If you prefer white lights with 100/90 watts, narva is a good try, also cheaper. Philips has ralley series in the same watts which is almost equal to narva throw.

I use crystalvision on my wagon R and its far better than stocks, didnt need any relay. For city driving this is a perfect choice, but costly; Rs.1000/- a pair with free white parking lights.

Bluevision comes in 100/90W rating and cost 550-750 a pair. Make sure you buy from a distributor and not just any shop. More often than not, philips bulbs in open market are FAKE.

mobike, you can get any autocar etc., that has numbers of philips zonal offices who will give you the numbers of the distributor.
I am not too sure about ebay, though patiencewins got an original bulb.

Blew a bulb again!

The right side headlight bulb blew for the second time within a month of replacement. What could be the reason?

First it was Bluevision and now Halonix and same right side

The wiring and holders are all fine, got everything checked and its done up properly, I fail to understand why this happened twice in such short time!

OHC's are prone to this problem. Even Irags has faced this written somewhere on this thread itself.

Angel eyes Swift Question

Hi Guys

I have a Swift VDI. I recently installed the Angel eyes exactly like the ones in the image

ImageShack - Hosting :: swiftangelblackis0fm8.jpg

I have 2 questions

1) The set by default has projector on lower beam and reflectors on higher beam. I have installed Crystal Vision on the lower ( projector) and Rally 100W on higher for highway use (rarely used in city)

Now someone told me that projectors are actually meant for a longer throw and hence my Rally 100W needs to be in the projector at high beam and crystal vision in the lower bean on reflectors ? is this true ?

Now if this is true then how can I change the lower beam and upper beam allocation ?

2) If I need a white light for fogs. what is the swift fog lamp bulb size and which one is recommended for this.

Thanks

Ya bud don't you think it's unfair to blame it to an OHC? What's so different?

Today I was driving with the high beam on to make both headlights work, just got home to realise that the high beam on the right side has also FUC**D up!

What $hit man!

bosch should be reliable.. but i wouldnt take the chance. especially since your paying 11k and theres no warranty. check out ebay.com . youll find loads of xenons there with a warranty and about $120- $200. not ebay.in , the ebay us site.
