Corolla Performance

Heya guys,I must say that I am glad to be a member of Team-BHP now but I was constantly viewing the posts by different members which has helped me a lot in the b4 days..thanx to you guys.Well,am owning a Toyota Corolla 1.8E Manual and I wanted to hook it up with some performance parts.Well, yesterday I had been yo Ozz-one,Indiranagar looking out for K&N Typhoon cold air intake system,NGK IridiumPlugs and MSD Ignition. The kinda price that guy quoted me was bad.

K&N Typhoon - 13,500Rs.
NGK Plugs x4 - 3,000Rs.
MSD Ignition - 6,000Rs.(Only 4 wires,some black box,2dozens of holders!!)

Well..can you please help me out on this and suggest me better places to pick it up.

Vittal

First things first : Even with the stock and powerful engine, the Corolla has a huge amount of torque steer. If you havent already, upgrade your rubber first.

You're wasting your time with all of that. The only thing that will help is the K&N filter alone, not even the whole Typhoon intake. I'd stay away from the rest. Absolute waste of money for a stock car.
