If elantra says CF-4, that means CF-4 is the minimum grade you need to put in.
India has LSD, not ULSD

Is it for a Petrol Innova? How much did you pay for this?

You should have opted for Mobil1 Delvac range which is specially formulated for Diesel engines. No harm in using 5W-50 though.

Swathy,Moral's 5w50 Mobil1 oil is for both Petrol as well as diesel engines.
5W50 must work well for Palio 1.6

Finally, today evening saw me take possession of Mobil1 Supersyn 5W 50 - 4L can and Abro engine flush. Much obliged to Condor for doing the leg work. I'll get the flush added at RNS and the whole cog including draining, putting the Mobil 1 and changing the oil filter - under my hawkish nose in a couple weeks.

Cost 3000 bucks for the oil and 200 for the flush.

he got it from JC road. the directions are complicated. If you want to get confused about the directions do call him up. Else Condor or Rudraji will tell tell you exactly where it is.

AFAIK, go on JC road, take right at first signal, on the left there is small lane and it's somewhere there.

Shazikon,

JC Road - 1st signal - right towards Urvashi - very first cross on the left - 2nd shop on the right : "General Auto Spares" (Double shuttered shop. This building has a basement with other shops. 50 metres from JC Road)

And after you pick it up, please flame vid6639 publicly on the forum.

Thanks Mag and Vid, will try there. I have one more query, Ikons user manual says SAE 10W30 to be used. If not 10W40 can be used. Now is this available with Mobil supre syn? My car is 6 years old, run around 63000 kms, is it advisable to use Synthetics directly or should i go for semi synthetic first and then change to Synthetic oil.
