That being said, when can we expect some implementation on the C220 ? :)

Sahil, Pete's already has a box for the C220, and it makes a bit of difference, believe you me!

Satishfaction, the Verna with Pete's box will kick some serious behind.

Great job mate,

Thanks for such an informative article.
Have a query on this point though

[5. Improved exhaling: A free-flowing exhaust leads to the smooth discharge of exhaust gases and results in improved performance. Also, turbo back-pressure is reduced by good exhaust flow.

Been thinking awhile for getting a free flow. But would like t know what happens to the catalytic converter and thus BS3 compliance and stuff. And how does it effect on Extended warranty???!!!!

A free flow means no CAT. So you wont confirm to emission norms and the manufacturer has the right to withdraw warranty.

i may sound silly but got to clarify this
with free flow & if we dont comply with emission norms ...any chance of cop trouble.... i mean illegality???

Amazing thread here guyz , i own a Verna VGT and seriously looking at some mods , this thread definitley gives me some pointers !

Every chance of challan. In Chandigarh cops challan for free flow exausts.

I have a diesel Innova, do you suggest pete's box for my Innova? If yes then where can I get it in Bangalore and any price indications?
Will this affect my original warranty from the manufacturer?

Using a aftermarket box will void your warranty. This is true with any mod like free flow, ECU remap etc.,

Can anybody guide me to some place in blore where i can get the pete's box installedon my Verna CRDi VGT ?

You can pick it up at Hot Tracks on Residency road.

does anyone know if the petes box is available for the innova? its there on their site but it dosent give any specs... and when i went to 4 seasons they said its not available for the innova.

I made a ram air intake for my indica. and coupled with a free flow exhaust, it gave a decent increase in perfomance.

and can i make the Propane Fumigation system, using an lpg kit for a petrol car???

In the other thread (Automech) it was mentioned that free flow can be fitted without removing the CAT. Also fitment of free flow does fall within the limits of emission norms (increase from 10% to 25%). Even the sound levels are within the permissible limit of 55 db.

Here's the link for automech thread

Has any one fitted pete's tuning box for the skoda laura?
If yes, then how much performance boost does it give and by how much has it affected the 0-100 acceleration?
