Try K&N RR 3003 filter.remember to put the filter in a custom made box to resist hot airflow. Also keep the original duct positions.

K&N for my Scorpio

Hi everyone,
I have a Pulsar 200 DTSi. I recently fitted the K & N and rejetted my carb. The performance is just phenomenal:Cheering: . Now I would like to do the same for my 20000 KM old Scorpio 2.6 CRDe. I read here that an increase of 4 - 6 BHP can be expected. Am from Chennai. Can someone guide me to where it would be available and how it should be fitted ? Also is there any recalibration necessary to be done after fitting the filter. Kindly guide me....

Akshay1234 14th June 2007 22:41

ive heard the k&ns make alot of noise on the scorpio.

@akshay1234 : Yeah, I know that. But that is what makes the K&N so irresistable;) . My Pulsar makes one hell of a noise now with the K&N and a freeflow exhaust. But noise is not of much concern when there is great performance. So just guide me to the model of K&N Air filter that can be used.

Thanks & Regards,

Aparajith .S

Scorpio Air Filter K&N RR-3003

yes it does make noise provided its open, u should fit it in an enclosed box with an air intake outlet has of the stock, also which can resist heat. trust me i have fitted and its good.

Thanx roadntrack. Am from Chennai. Where are these models available and is any specialist required for fitting it ? And BTW I saw that its necessary to provide a chrome piping and keep the air filter away from the engine....So I will do it and get back with the results....

Thanks,

As Swift VDI is already having Turbo charger and other things like head work free flow filter and exhaust pipe will come in picture after covering atleast 10K kms, so the Petes will do in initial phase, How much is it in Bangalore? As Psycho said will get at Hot Tracks on Residency road.

v1p3r 20th June 2007 18:28
