Re: ARTICLE: CNG vs LPG Comparision

With the rising number of cars on CNG now, finding LPG pumps in Mumbai is getting very difficult. I have tried finding LPG pumps in the past few months but to no avail.

According to my findings, pumps in the following places have already shut shop for LPG, however, they still continue to sell petrol and diesel -

1. Mulund LBS road (Near J&J)
2. Saki Naka (Near Saki naka metro station)
3. Sahar Airport
4. Borivali (Opp. Vijay sales on S.V. Road)
5. Andheri
6. Mankhurd ( Sion-Panvel highway)

I wish to keep the car for a few more years and i am not keen on converting it to CNG since my yearly running is not much. I'm still keen on LPG since its ultimately cheaper than petrol and somewhat expensive than CNG and diesel.

Attaching a reference picture of the pumps that i have visited, and found them shut for LPG. Would like to know if anyone knows any pump which still sells LPG in Mumbai.

Re: ARTICLE: CNG vs LPG Comparision

Came across this article in the Mumbai Mirror the other day.

https://mumbaimirror.indiatimes.com/...w/66613141.cms

Quote:
Despite the government's push to green fuels, Mumbaikars who own CNG vehicles have been having a tough time, what with insufficient gas stations and unending queues at pumps. As a result, some of them who have dual petrol-CNG cars have stopped using their CNG kits entirely.
