| Mahindra Racing unveils 2018/19 M5Electro Formula E car Mahindra Racing has unveiled its new M5Electro Formula E car in India. It will race in season 5 of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship.  The M5Electro is based on the second-generation Formula E race car. It features a revised exterior with Mahindra Racing's new red and white livery. The car has a claimed 0-100 km/h time of 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 280 km/h. For season 5, the FIA has made a few changes to the rules. The race will now last for 45 minutes and an extra lap without any pit stops. The 'Attack Mode' with 25 kW boost in power can be gained by driving through the Activation Zone situated off the racing line.  Five drivers who receive FANBOOST from fan voting ahead of the race will get a significant boost in power that can be deployed in a 5 second window during the second half of the race. Fans can vote for their favourite drivers on this website. A total of 13 races will be held over the course of the season.
