Red Bull F1 Mumbai showrun on 12th March, 2023 - How can we watch this?

Red Bull Racing is bringing its F1 showrun to the streets of Mumbai, with 13-time F1 race winner David Coulthard driving one of Red Bull’s championship winning cars in the city on March 12, 2023 at Bandra (W).

This isn’t the first time they’ll be bringing their showrun to the country, or Mumbai for that matter. Their last appearance in India was at the Hyderabad showrun back in 2015, with Coulthard behind the wheel.

Red Bull has also held previous versions of the showrun on Mumbai’s Bandra-Worli Sea Link in 2009, and the streets of Delhi in 2011.

Celebrating a record-breaking F1 season by Red Bull
The Mumbai showrun comes on the back of a record-breaking 2022 F1 season for Red Bull. Max Verstappen clinched his second title, with the largest points haul by any driver in F1 history. The team also secured their fifth constructors’ title – and their first one since 2013.

Autocar website say that while the exact route for the 2023 Mumbai showrun hasn’t been announced yet, we can confirm that Coulthard will be driving Sebastian Vettel’s 2011 championship winning car – the RB7.

I may not be the greatest fan of F1 cars but surely am the great fan and this showrun will definitely be my dream come true to see and hear F1 car and I really dont wish to miss this long awaited opportunity.
So can anyone please throw some light about whether general public can watch this showrun and also the exact route (suggested best stretch for viewers) and how we can attend this showrun (I am expecting some ways to watch as spectator without buying a bombing ticket of Rs. 25000). Will this

I recall some controversy regarding the speed at which DC drove on the sea-link the last time this event was held in 2009.

I hope these issues don't rear their ugly head again this time.

Overspeeding Coulthard invites Rs 14-lakh fine in Mumbai

Coulthard's dash at speeds up to 265 km per hour in his Red Bull F1 car on the Mumbai Sea Link cost the event's organisers Rs 14 lakh.

Mumbai, UPDATED: Oct 12, 2009 16:59 IST

Of all the people to be fined for overspeeding on Mumbai's streets, it happened to Formula One driver David Coulthard.

Coulthard's dash at speeds up to 265 km per hour in his Red Bull F1 car on the Mumbai Sea Link cost the event's organisers Rs 14 lakh.

Red Bull, the organisers of the event, had paid Rs 35 lakh to Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC). Of this, Rs 21 lakh was compensation for the day's toll collection on the sea link and the remaining Rs 14 lakh was a deposit in case of an accident or damage to the bridge.

But with Coulthard driving way above the speed limit of 100 km per hour, MSRDC decided not to refund the deposit at all.

Red Bull doesn't care about a piffling $ 20k. It adds to the publicity.

Have booked tickets as the train tickets from Nagpur are very affordable compared to grand prix ticket prices, keeping hopes alive to witness some of the roadshow if by any chance.
