1. Contigo
2. Dunlop Tuff Grip
3. MRF Zapper Q (Tube) (Not sure on this still if it fits)
4. PSD (Hardly available, if available over-priced and Soft Compound)
While the PSD is the best option available (don't fret because of the soft compound, it is a wonderful tire) other option is that of the Bridgestone Metzler. You may scour for it as well.

How does the KTM & R15 (new) rear goes with the CBR-250R? Has anyone tried?

Would love to get those metz but again not available. Was available with a person in Delhi 4 months ago but he does not have any now and do not have idea when he can get it also.

I remember somebody in our Bangalore CBR owners group trying 150/60, will check on it and update.

Re: New addition to my garage, the new CBR250r

Awesome thread you boys have running here! Shall be adding in my own C-bird to this list! Having ridden a friends bike I was floored quite sometime ago. Though I am a little confused do I buy a new one or pick up my friends used one. The bike is well known to me but it's been through the hands of two other people. So I'm a little worried. Best to just go new? P.S its gonna be for my birthday coming up in a month.

When I was 18 and planning on buying a bike , I picked up a book, one written by the infamous Dilip Bam. He said that buying a bike was like getting married, you could get married to your neighbors daughter, do a love marriage or an arranged marriage. With your neighbors daughter you know everything and what may have been done. You are aware about what’s been done and if you are ok with it you go ahead and make it your own. With love marriage you do what you do and then marry it and are happy. With arrange marriage, you are in for surprises.

If you are in Love with the CBR buy a new one.

If you are low in cash and are pretty sure about what condition the old owners are giving you the bike buy it. But then who would want to marry someone who’s had two husbands? Just my opinion.

Adding another option. Availability expected to improve since it is shod on the ninja 300 as well.

Update - Odo reading 30000 kms

It's been while since i updated this thread. Been busy with work.
This happened today morning.
New addition to my garage, the new CBR250r-img_20130903_104221.jpg

As part of the 30k service, changed the following things,
1. Acceleration Cable
2. Clutch cable
3. Spark plug
4. Engine Oil with filter
5. Air Filter

Had changed both tires when the odo reading was around 28k-29k range.

Congratulations Santosh Saar, good to see your trusted steed achieve the milestone. For sure this is one example that gets the best of my respects for all the terrain she has encountered.

Suggest you share a good photo collage of all the places you have done with her. Do you have any low lights that you want to share?

Wishing you both many more happy miles together before you treat yourself with an upgrade? So which one are you planning to?

Thanks mahesh. It has not let down so far.
Will soon come up with a collage.
As you know I am more of a tourer guy, so do not see any good upgrade so far in the market. What are your suggestions on it
