If they offer this design at the current price point without any premiums, I am sure they'll sell in trucks. People have loved the FZ-s for their sporty designs and they are gonna love the pulsar more since it has the KTM engine.

Loving every bit of the bike in this pic. Many would disagree but i feel Pulsar is gonna be revolutionary (if everything they offer is as good as the design)

Except for a lot of frills removed for the production version (for eg: fancy swingarm), this one seems to have a lot of design similarities with the one in the spy pics.

i can see a lot of similarities between this picture and the spy shots in the above pics, namely the fuel tank design and the tail section.

If i am not mistaken, this is a KTM Duke, which will be released in india at the end of 2011 by Bajaj Auto. Who owns approx 30%+ of KTM. the engine capaity is rumored to be 200 c.c.

This info was sourced from Autocar India Nov. 2011 edition.

Some other featured mentioned were:
1) Liquid cooling
2) Fuel Injection
3) 4 Valves
4) A Trellis Frame.

Price is expected between 1.2-1.5 lakhs.

Why ignored? This is a democratic forum and each one is entitled to their own opinions. And the speculations/rumors is what keeps the excitement going as we all know Bajaj and KTM products are set to shake up the market (another speculation)

I personally dont feel that Pulsar flagship will be around 1L unless they add some extras like taking the cc's a level further to 250, full front faring and FI. They should have designed a sports edition by now.

But, wasn't he talking about Duke 200 there? And not the Pulsar range.

However, from the spy pics - its pretty clear they are running on the Duke engine block, and not the good old Bajaj DTSi engine.

I'm thinking of replacing my aged Unicorn with the RTR 180 ABS but going through this thread made me rethink on replacing my bike now and wait until some of the 2012 bikes are out (especially the pulsar 180 or the KTM). Hopefully they will be equipped with ABS.
