Kinetic was dragging its last years with these launches. We expect Mahindra with its moneybags and capabilities to have a much contemporary model line-up. The Mahindra bikes and scooters are just there for the sake of it at present.

Good write up !! Your review covered almost everything regarding Duro and also helped me make my decision. Got my Duro DZ delivered yesterday. As many members voiced, nothing new, but still a better product when compared to the earlier Duro and Nova.

I really liked the higher handle position and the telescopic front suspension. But if Mahindra has to stay in contention to lead this segment, with stiff competition from Honda and TVS, it really needs to come up with something new and better than Activa and Wego.

There are a ton of hop up parts available for this engine!

Big bore kits, pipes, variators, racing CDI's etc! This engine should open up the scooter tuning scene in India.

It's a very innovative concept being introduced, you get a sweet discount, 6 months EMI and extended warranty plus insurance. I only wish Honda and other scooter makers take note of it and introduce it.

Honda does not need to do that or for that matter Suzuki also, their quality does all the selling.

No offense, however bad their sales and service guys might be, Honda is still the best!!
