How many TBHPians for RM 2012 Delhi?

RM 2012 will hosted by Royal Beasts on 28th and 29th Jan 2012.

I am riding from Hyderabad.

This is the real rider mania, hosted by the clubs. Each year one club hosts the event in their city, Royal Enfield riders from all across the country gather for two days, its the world's largest Enfield fest. You can check the below link for more info royalbeasts.com/rm.htm.

Thank you for the information, this is on the same lines as the Harley Davidson meets abroad. I am not much of a rider but had been to one Harley meet on my vactation and it was loads of fun. I am sure the Rider Mania 2012 would be too.

Usually, there are some biking contests like Bike assembly and trails, but it depends on the hosts' imagination, some bands perform in the evening followed by food. In short its one big party.

You can check some of my threads on the trip to the venue. I have been to a couple of rider mania's. I go there because I meet some of the few people, who think its normal to ride a 1000 kms to meet and be with friends.

Nice. Which route you guys plan to take for RM event? GQ will cost you 2100kms and N-S corridor roughly 1650kms.

I recommend the former route and will easily take you 3 days to cover. Do keep the foggy conditions in mind as that would be peak winter in Delhi.

Wish I can join this event...Sigh !

We are riding. We usually do about 800 kms in a day. The plan is 2 days or max 2.5 days of riding to get there.
Return in two days.

The extra half a day for the onward journey so that we reach the venue when the rider mania is officially on.

The registration fee includes accommodation and food.
