In Hyderabad: just bought and fixed a rear 3.50-19 Dunlop on my bike.
Paid 1050 for tire and a Ceat tube.
Shop:
Balaji Tyres, Punjagutta, towards Ameerpet.
Shop's Phone # 9246585705.
Today my mechanic advised that I replace this tire.

It has started to flex in the sidewall. So when I turn or brake hard it creates instability.
No idea how many kms passed between the first post and this as no odo on my bike.

I cannot find Dunlop monstor on the falcontyres.com site any more. Are they not in production now?

I have been thinking of a wider tyre for my TB and did not want to change the rim size. After ruling out MRF Meteor, only option i found in wider tyres is this dunlop monstor. Would be interested to get feedback on this dunlop monstor performance and its availability.

Any leads in Hyderabad would be of great help.

Thanks
cjrao.

For rear , i will always recommend using the pirelli mt60 tubeless tyre. It can be used at the front also but only if u off-road too much. Ribbed is good at front for regular highway cruising.

pirelli costs 2800 with tube.

If you are in delhi, you can find this tyre at universal tyre house in lajpat nagar. I don't remember the telephone number or the address but it's in the main market.

Boss the actual cost is around Rs 1600, but as these tyres are kinda rare to find be ready to shell out anything between Rs 2K to 3K -- depends upon the shopwallah's mood. The only time I paid the MRP price was when I bought them from Kerala. In Pune, I have shelled out around 2500 bucks per tyre.

There are no 3.50 available. It is 3.00, unless you are talking about the block design one - 110.

Re: Where will I get 19-in Dunlop tyres for my Bullet??

Is that available in 3.50? I believe only the 3.00 is available now. Havent bought one for almost a year now - No Bullet.

The 110 size is this one. I have seen it too. "Looks" good. But a hard compund and that tread, my limited knowledge tells me. It wont be a good one.

Yes still available in 3.50 for rear wheel.
You're talking about the MRF Meteor 110/90 for Bullet. And you're right I've read on this forum that it isn't good during the rains. Would have liked 3.75 for my bike but that s not made here. So the 3.50 will do.
How's the Sunbeam?

Actually it should be available cos certain models like the Electra TwinSpark have a 3.50 x 19 rear tire. But I know it's hard to get and prices vary. In Vasco a dealer has Dunlop / Falcon for Rs. 1800/
