I also thought of getting my helmet done this way but Desert storm color is not available so have to settle with just putting a RE sticker |
Hope you were able to get the RE sticker and customized your helmet? Would like to see the pictures soon. Quote:

Last Sunday ( March 4th), the bulleteers group of Hyderabad known as " Wanderers" rode to a place called Medak which is 100kms away from the city to a secret lake which was known to one of the Wanderers.
There were a total of 13 BULLS during the ride and we had a fantastic time riding together.
We met at 6:30AM and stopped at a small resturant on the highway for breakfast consisting of hot Idli, Vada and Dosas.
The rides were a mixture of Classic, Thunderbirds, Electras and Standards
Roads were butter smooth with either greenry or forest on either side with many winding twisties and turns not exactly like a ghat section but, nonetheless pleasurable to ride on those turns
For the first time, i enjoyed touching 100kmph on Maroon Marauder and felt the bike to be very stable with absolutely no handlebar vibration or anything at all and the way it reaches this speed is the best part. I couldnt take the speeds further as i was wearing a half faced helmet which is not conducive for high speeds and lot of wind-noise makes you feel uncomfortable.
I plan to buy a full-face helmet over the weekend which will be used for highway rides.
Once we reached the destination, we had to trek through some fields to reach the secret lake and I tried my hand at angling and we caught a lot of decently sized fishes and your jaw will drop to know the price we paid for them ( since we were using some fishermen's equipment)
Overall, it was a fun ride of 200kms+ with 13 other liked minded BULL riders to that lovely lake. Icing on the cake was to learn how to fish P.S: Please do keep checking this thread. Pictures and Videos of that ride will come up soon. Pretty tied up at work !!! |
