I am not much into bikes, but does anyone else feel that the rear saddle, without the chrome, looks out of place on the Thunderbird 500? Also, is it meant to be 'crash-guard-less' originally? Wouldn't that upset the cops? I believe it will come fitted with a crash-guard when its up for sale.

WOW!!...Love the Cafe Racer concept.

I have seen a few cafe racer imported from Japan (Yamaha SR400)...they look pretty cool! Lets wait untill RE launches its Cafe racers. Can't wait to lay my hands on one.

Got some information about RE Cafe racer from a reliable source.

535 cc Fuel injected engine. around 30bhp.
Lighter piston, bigger valves, bigger throttle body.
Reduced secondary reduction ratio(smaller wheel sprocket(36)) and because of this, expect top speed above 140Kmph. He said it is casually doing 145-150Kmph and 160Kmph is their target.
Better handling.

Expected launch 2012 end.

Its different from the TB350 available until October 2012, due to a larger tank. The newer bike, in both versions (350 & 500) though, has similar handle bars.
