Re: Yamaha @ Auto Expo 2012

what's with yamaha?first to get the most powerful bike in india in 1984 & still stuck with getting the full range.i was looking forward for the r6 this year & there is no news of it.will the r6 ever come to india??when the dayatona 675,hyosung 650 & ninja 600 can make it to india why not the yamaha r6.this is really disappointing.not that the r1 is reasonably priced, the limited r1 is almost 16.5 L on road in bangalore

Flop show by Yahama. I was desprately looking for a 2XX CC from them. I'm not sure whats stopping them from doing it when Honda, Bajaj (in the form of KTM) can pull it off.

Some lovely pics! I see that the mirrors on the Vmax were being put to good use.
Got to admit that I am a bit disappointed with the range. Nothing really exciting hitting our shores. Was hoping to see a 250 out of Yamaha's stable.

Re: Yamaha @ Auto Expo 2012

Come on Yamaha, you can for sure make a better pitch. Is it the Japanese management who are disconnected from Indian Pulses? Yamaha has a very good Brand Image for making powerful 2 wheelers. Apart from R-15 & FZ16 there are hardly any newer models being launched. Pull up your socks and roll out a 250/400 twin cylinder Motorcycle.
Probably it might save the company some money by not rolling out those scooters.
