What did interest us at the stall was the Suzuki E-Lets.

This is currently not sold in India.
  • Electric Scooter with Lithium-ion Battery.
  • Zero emissions
  • Single charge gives a riding range of approximately 30 Kms.

No Suzuki GW250?Looks like slim pickings for the 250 brigade this time.

The Hayate is as exciting as pan of water.Love the V-strom,any chance of that coming here?

That sensor is actually used for ABS. Yes, it could double as speed sensor also.
For normal application, there is no need for the slotted wheel you see within the disk brake. The above set up will give far more accurate speed of the respective wheel, just like CPS(crank position sensor)-which determines the relative position of the cylinder with respect to TDC(Top Dead Center).

OMG ! , did they say anything about launching the v-strom here for about 5 lakh rupees . They SHOULD get it here ,its already late , suzuki needs to catch up .

Also the Hayabusa is over-prized , around 16 lakh rupees on road in Bangalore is a bomb . . Suzuki ,how about a limited offering on Hayabusa for around 10 lakhs ? as 2012 is the end of the world ! .

Re: Suzuki 2-Wheelers @ Auto Expo 2012

I guess its time for Suzuki to get into the market with decent looking 150,200 and 250 cc. For some reason (personally) I don't like the GS 150R.

yeah. have Suzuki displayed to see visitor response? looks to be a i4 engine, any plans if this could be launched? am inquisitive, why wud they bother to show it when the supersports are already in market.

Also, with its own 800cc cruiser cousin launched, dont you think it has a prospect?

Re: Suzuki 2-Wheelers @ Auto Expo 2012

What exactly is the difference between the Swish and the Access ?? (other than body panels)

I can see that styling is less dowdy and li'l more sporty like a Honda! My point is...why not put the Access to rest!
