Re: KTM Duke 200 : Baby Duke 222 unites with her new family!

@vcheng

Just saw my old thread popping up in the active list after ages.

The 390 is a lovely, inexpensive, very punchy bike. As an Indian, living in the city where it is born, for the world, I am especially lucky.

And proud.

The bike has done around 5000 kms only. Mainly and only Sunday morning blasts.

No real issues save for commonly known ones:

Sometimes white smoke on startup

Front rim bent thanks to hitting a bad pothole. No air loss.

Speedo suddenly shows 0 and the switches back to showing correct speed. Tried to solve, without success.

Front brake lever play increased. Not spongy. Just longer movement to bite point from before.

Left wrist tendon pain and some arm pump thanks to hard clutch. I think this is largely though more related to handle end angle and the curve of the clutch lever (hands having to open wide to operate + wrist cocked in position different to the shorter and different angles Duke 200 handle which also had a much softer clutch)

If there is anything specific you would like to know, please ask.

In case you missed my reply above ^^^
