2013 Bajaj Avenger 200cc

Guys!

Just found a comparison between the old gen Avenger and 2013 Avenger on this Link

Is there a new model avenger on the cards? Apparently the improvements indicated in the 2013 Model have overcome the major shortfalls in the old gen avenger.

Add-on's like Tachometer, Tubeless tyres, Rear Discs, Higher ground clearance etc., really interest me.

Any concrete info on this?

AFAIK, no!

It seems to be based on pure speculation that the new 200cc engine from Pulsar 200NS will make its way into Avenger series. (Just like earlier Bajaj strategy of giving Avenger - the best engine from Pulsar series - in a detuned form).

Its the Maxabout website.One website which i never rely on. All they give is complete fake news.
Few months back, i saw a Pulsar 650 in their site and it was priced at 3.20 lacs.

Well, the highest displacement pulsar would be a 350 cc which will be launched after Duke 350. So for Avenger, its a completely no no

I don't see any credibility in the said report.
It is comparing a phased out model (180) with a due-to-arrive model! They could have at least compared it with the current 220 one.

Avenger got the 220 mill very late, as compared to the Pulsar. So, frankly, I don't think they would lend out the 200 triple spark to it so soon.

That entire thing is crap!!! BAL stopped making 180cc Avenger several years ago; they've moved to 200cc & then to 220cc. But that misleading info website shows 178.66 cc; BAL would be really surprised to see the changed Power for 2013 model (from the original P200NS) while the torque still remains the same.

Is this information for real? I would actually like to see a V-twin on a stronger chassis. It's high-time Bajaj brought out twin cylinders in its line-up.

Is there an official word from BAL about them launching an Avenger with P-200 NS's engine? This has been a trend from BAL, but as it isn't out officially we possibly can't give these TRP hungry web-sites any benefit of doubt.
