Suzuki launches Hayate, a 112cc Commuter Bike

Source : Suzuki launches their new 110cc motorcycle – the Hayate

Article :

Quote:

Suzuki Motorcycles India has launched a new 110cc motorcycle called the Hayate for the Indian market. The Hayate was originally shown at the Auto Expo 2012 alongside the Swish 125cc scooter. The 'Hayate', Japanese for 'Fresh breeze' or 'Swift wind', is a 110 cc motorcycle that is targeted at first-time motorcycle owners and also at people who want a competent and frugal commuter.
Basically its Zeus under the skin. Engine is now a bit smaller for higher effeciency. May be, its reduced in size to satisfy the Indian mentality of less cc = higher FE.
This bike has still got tubular swing arm, which is a bad thing IMO.
Still, mostly, the fuel filler cap is not attached to tank via hinge and one can remove it completely which certainly is not convenient. Suzuki should come up with much better products which are contemporary.
Fuel tank capacity = 8 ltrs.
Salman Khan will now endorse all bikes from Suzuki.

Re: Suzuki launches Hayate, 112cc Commuter Bike

Absolutely no looker compared to fancy bikes that Bajaj produce in same segment. Looks like Suzuki has got it all wrong in 2-wheeler market in India. Wondering why when they have established themselves so well in 4-wheeler business.

BTW, Why the seat is looking like a slide to me ?
