Dear Ram - congratulations, keep it forever and ever and ever. Please don't add any of those chrome side protectors. It looks great as it is.

Best regards,

Looks like a candy!! yummy! Congrats on the new buy mate!!

One very curious thing I have found on a lot of vehicles with the AP registration, why do people drive with the temp registration for a long long time?? At a glance the vehicle gives a impression that its new and is yet to be registered, but its only when you look at the odo, the actual story unfolds!!

I have seen some vehicles having clocked almost 40K kms and still sports a temp registration!!

Congrats Ram. That's an impressive collection of scooters and your love for the Vespa is truly admirable. Wishing you many happy and safe rides on the Vespa.

The craftsmanship and attention to detail is excellent and a work of art. The Italians sure know how to create an impression and an icon.

I saw a young lady riding a bright red one today morning while i was on my way to work and thought about you. Looked very pretty and was puttering along softly. Couldn't get my eyes off it. Brilliant paint finish, i must say.

Technically one can register any new vehicle upto 1 month from the date of invoice.Hence there is no problem as such in riding with a temporary registration till 1 month from the date of invoice.
In Andhra,we all have a set of prefered registration numbers that we would like to lay our hands on..its like lucky numbers for example, we usually like all the digits add upto 10..hence a number like 1414 will do the trick !!!

I was lucky enough to lay my lands on the White Wall tyre inserts and wasted no time in getting them fitted.Voila it has changed the looks totally !!!
I also added a little italian theme with few decals of the green.white, red flag.
Tomorrow the Vespa goes for a long ride on the highway to test various ride parametres.
With the white wall tyres and the Italian flag stickers your Vespa looks absolutely gorgeous, a la Monica Bellucci!

Where did you get it from and for how much?

Congratulations Ram! That is indeed an impressive collection and your passion is truly admirable.

I have seen quite a few Vespa aficionados here in Switzerland but you take the cream. Ride safe and may your collection grow. Cheers.

Night lights:
As any city life is judged by its night life..So is the case of a Vespa.I decided to capture few illuminations of my LX 125 and the result..What a glare !!!

Not a Solar Eclipse or a Sun Beam..But the High Beam Halogen

Re: My Vespa LX 125 "Yellow Wasp" - Italian Art In Motion

Today,my friend Raju Datla took devliery of this Red Vesa LX 125 at the Smart Vespa in Jubilee Hills.I accompanied him on Yellow Wasp for a brotherly company on this jubiliant occassion.
As usual Mr.Ratin and his Team at Smart Vespa gave execellent customer support and a traditional delivery of the vehicle to my friend, who was ecstatic with his Red Wasp.I will let the pictures do the talking.

Mr.Ratin hands over the Red Vespa LX to my friend Raju Datla

@Hillram,
congratulations on your new buy,
awesome collection of Vespa scooters that you have.
Yellow and red color scooters give killing effect with that best paint quality.

Newly launched Vespa in India is not manufactured using imported kit,
98% of the parts including engine and chassis are manufactured in India.
Here in 12mati, I already talked with vespa guys over side stand, matting and side footrest and they have noted it.

I dont think this is correct.Atleast the first few lots are being manufactured with the help of CKD kits and that is the reason why the price is on the higher side.
If the Vespa would have been made in India, then Footrest would have automatically come.Since this is model is totally based on the European lineage, there is no foot rest.It will come as an accessory soon.

Does one get easy access to Vespa guys,if one lives in Baramati?
