What kind of performance and handling can be expected from a Classic 2? Specs on paper are quite impressive, but it's old technology so it may not put all the power down at the wheel.

An awesome thread that I accidentally bumped into whilst researching about Yezdi classic , In the process of relocating to India from UK after a decade and after a Yezdi Classic and willys CJ3B to buy and restore to original specs , the following questions are killing me at the moment , all advice and guidance deeply appreciated -

1) Where can I purchase a Yezdi Classic in Hyderabad ?
2) Is it a good bet to search online on sites like olx and quikr ?
3) Are there good Yezdi mechanics in Hyderabad?
4)How much should I budget for a yezdi purchase to begin with ? ( Clear and Original docs are a must as I don't want to fiddle around with creating docs as i prefer to be on the right side of the law)
5) Budget for restoration if I pick up a below average bike - My preference as i would then know that everything original has gone in during the restoration.

Waiting to hear from all you folks with bated breath , I intend to travel to Hyderabad in the next few months to finalise my relocation plans and intend to purchase during this trip so that I can start the restoration patiently , again all advice and help would be greatly appreciated.

What are the events tomorrow at National College bangalore as part of the International Jawa/Yezdi day?
Any member of the Bangalore chapter here?

Ride for record, the most number of yezdi Jawa bikes in a single event is planned for tomorrow. Also a blood donation camp is organized. A few stalls, details of which are not known to me is also the part of the event.

Anyone from the team bhp attending the event, we can plan a mini meet there.

The Jawa Day was celebrated on Sunday, 12th July in Bangalore at National college grounds in Basavanagudi area.

But Srini, sadly this year the entire limelight was on the Jawa Nanna Jeeva group. I don't what rocked BJYMC. None of the members were seen on the stage full time, only a guest appearance. Sad to see the group going into the nutshell.

Is the TS350 the same as the JAWA 350 Twin mechanically?

I remember seeing the scooter years ago at a garage and they used to call it 'kapall' (ship) for the way it looks.

The MZ seems to be missing from the meet.
