re: Next Gen Bajaj Pulsars - SS400 & CS400 (rechristened as Dominar)

The bike looks great, with nice tall handlebars. However the seat seems too flat for both rider and pillion. Wonder how would the comfort be on such flat seats.

I really hope this is the Pulsar 375. I desperately need a new ride to replace my ageing classic 180.

How did you come to that conclusion? Do you have any credible evidence/ sources that pointed you in this direction.

What I would like to see is both the 200 SS and the 375 being launched together!!

Hey Roomy,

Information is a bit classified, so cant really disclose that.
However, one sure shot pointer are the tyres, same section eurogrips that are currently shod on the 200NS, which are horrid even on the NS. It cannot handle the power of the 375. Bajaj surely wont be that daft.

For detailed pictures, please refer earlier scoop photos and not the render.

Also the engine and the complete setup looks exactly like the 200NS, I can be sure of that as i am a 200NS owner myself.

As far as seeing them together is concerned, Bajaj might do that just as a preview, but most certainly wont be launched together.

@hiren:
With a full faired Pulsar, Bajaj would definitely test waters before the big brother comes along. If my sources are to be believed, and there is no reason not to, the 375 will be previewed/launched in the fourth quarter of 2014, by which time your flogged horse might be in the grave!

Damn! Thats almost a year from now. Not sure my bike (or me for that matter) can hold on that long.

The Duke 390 seems like the most likely candidate but I am looking for a bike that will suit me in all conditions; commuting, travels et al. So a all in one.

Not really enamored by the D390 that much.

Yes, that's one sweet bike. I had a pleasure of sitting on one last year in one of the auto shows here in Sweden. But knowing Honda and their pricing, I'm not holding my breath.

Exactly what I'm thinking too. Why start with a 375SS when there are potential customers for 200SS? Considering all the development work that has been put into the 200cc engine, it simply is the obvious choice.

That should be enough time for the RC390 to land, and then maybe the 375SS.
