Re: Presenting my Bull - 1962 Royal Enfield

Hey H14 congrats on the bull! That is one beautiful piece of machinery! Really well done restoration. I too was surprised to see the pink emblem! But otherwise it looks fab!

Pretty sure must be really awesome to ride as well! Cheers. Keep us posted!

Re: Presenting my Bull - 1962 Royal Enfield

It is a pleasure to see such a pristine Royal Enfield and the shine it gives, is a real treat to the eyes.I didnt know that the rims were also made in England.
Enjoy a joyful ride on your bull.

A very well restored Royal Enfield. Congratulations.

You are lucky to have such a beautiful machine.

Note: I think you should remove the tank bag.

Re: Presenting my Bull - 1962 Royal Enfield

I own a 1962 Bullet myself. I have been holding it as a second owner since 1987 I guess. I am really impressed by the work done by Babu. Wish I had him in Hyderabad too. Not sure how much your BIL had spent, but the quality of work and originality is immaculate. I am amazed that he ensured that even prominent screws were original (brass) and even the mark of Lucas on a cover, and Madras marking. Fantastic!

That said, I am deliberating if I should sell my Bullet (which I had been so very passionate about all my life) and buy a new Continental GT instead. I am thinking I am missing on lot of useful functionality these days of disc brakes, easy start, side indicators, power (an old Bullet as mine, doubt if it will catch 110 kmph that I could easily do on Continental) and so on.

Anyways, I really appreciate the bike your BIL had put together. Do you mind sharing the major changes made and the cost? I am deliberating if I should do a similar one on mine. It will not be Black though
