TB however has its own niggles but something that can be fixed over a period of 2-3 months.

All the best though
I get the same feeling mate but I have done some aggressive follow ups. The irony of the whole thing is that when I did book it, I would have easily coughed up the entire OTR amount up-front. Now as time has passed, I am considering finance options. Hence have come to terms with the delay in delivery as well.

I distinctly remember the day I booked the DS, I enquired about the TB 500 and they werent sure on the launch or when deliveries would start. It was all a little too vague to commit to.

Thanks Fullrevs. No doubt, the brass logo looks great, i just hope it isn't easily 'plucked' when parked in a public place. Also, i think brass looks great on the black CI bullet, i have seen one on roads here with brass handle grips, brass RVM nuts, brass levers, brass rimmed foot rests and long flowing mudguards.. looks Royal indeed!

The TBTS 500 was launched much after my booking and people seem to get their rides a lot earlier.
I though delivery periods are lesser in Bangalore! Delivery period for the DS in Mumbai is around 8-10 months - as quoted by dealers

Hi ku69rd, the DS and TB Stone - both matt colors are available only with the 500 cc versions of the Classic and TB.

Hi Ku69rd,

I agree, there was some issue as mentioned by them of my papers not coming to them from the RTO, finally was sorted last week, I have been informed that the Bike is ready for delivery but with the Monsoon playing havoc for the next 2 days in bombay, It seems will be difficult for me to take delivery and drive to pune immediately.

Still looking at options.......

You may not be able to ride it around but at least it will be with you. There's one guy at Soniya motors who is well known for riding costumer's bike for personal chores and everybody else are very protective about him.

My only way of getting back at them was ensuring another TB500 for a family friend and a DS for a cousin have not been booked with them.

The service center people are comparatively good, well behaved and i have had good experience with them during servicing.

Let me know in case you want to talk to the RE regional manger, i can share his details with you - if this helps speed up any processes..
Hi Sam_b,
thanks for the notes, will pm you for the number if there are concerns,as of now the bike is ready for delivery and i need to schedule time to come and pickup the same as i mentioned in my earlier post.

The logo is bolted on Sam. I think its safe from vandalism or just falling off. Can be re-inforced with industrial glue as well.

Frustrated indeed! If going by their schedule, I would have waited a long 11 months to get my DS 500. Fingers crossed still. I am planning a visit to enquire tomorrow itself.

Cool. Is it concave? I mean does it fit the contour of the mudguard? I saw a few on Ebay but could not understand if they are flat or countered.

Well, best luck! I hope you get it asap. Consider writing to RE consumer complaints. You'll get the email on their website. Worked in my case. Do keep us updated on your DS.

It certainly is countered. Seems to be made for a rear mudguard.

Will definitely put up details once I get my DS. Thanks
