sorry, i am out of town presently and at that moment i wasn't carrying any camera. As per a report in, IIRC, motorbeam it is being launched on 16th sep!

It was being taken for a roadshow, two guys from showroom rode it and it accelerated quite briskly.

I must say, it looks bigger and nicer than wego and if you go to a tvs showroom, you will definitely pick jupiter over wego.

A friend of mine confirmed that HMSI is all set to launch a bigger version of Honda Activa. It is basically aimed at male buyers and will be powered by a 125CC engine. Timeline not sure.

Same engine as Wego, it is meant to take on Activa. Pricing is missing from the website! Motorbeam says its Rs 44,200 ex showroom delhi with telescopic front shocks, gas filled rear one and 130 mm brakes with 12 inch tyres!

Seems VFM product.

The feature list looks very impressive and the matte black color looks sweet, with such competitive pricing TVS wants to grab some share from Activa.

TVS Jupiter has been launched in North India. The price starts from Rs.44,200 (ex show room New Delhi). This scooter comes with many nifty features like Econometer, low fuel level warning etc. Overall the scooter looks like a nice product.

I wish they had given a disc brake as an option, guess they will do that at a latter stage.

When companies will become mature enough to bring maxi scooters like 150 cc plus variants. Think about bajaj coming with ktm themed(trellis frame . Orange color) and all power scooter with 200 cc ktm hooligan engine. google honda ruckus. Any one listening?

Isnt it strange that it is manufactured in Hosur and being launched in north india. We will get it in November as per the news.

Looks similar to Activa. 12 inch wheels and telescopic shocks must gve it a better ride than the competing scooters

0-60 kmph in 7.2 seconds much faster than activa's 10 secs, why does any one want more power! TVS jupiter beats activa in every single spec be it mileage, acceleration, suspension, convenience or price and with engine being same as that from Wego, there shouldn't be any reliability problems.

I wonder how they priced it below Wego! Specs wise it is even beating wego. Don't know if the body is plastic or metal as yet.

It should be a combination of both plastic and metal (like current generation Honda Activa).
