could this be the Yamaha Bolt?

other than the tailpiece (which could be a dummy on the test bikes) the other aspects seem to match.

Star Bolt is already in production and why would they change one small thing like fuel tank for India? If its a Star bolt then it will look 100% like a star bolt

I think AyAn!'s statement was related to the (lack of) pillion seat
OK makes sense, thanks. That goes for any hi end sport/y bike.

Even a Yamaha R1 needs a saree guard and this is a lot better for a pillion.

Back on topic now!

Harley for sure. The Saree guard itself is the evidence.. the round speedo meter, the front forks/alloys.. all from the Sportster family..

Oh how I would love to be a part of that conversation!

Anyways, I would expect Harley to focus more on other 'small premium' bike markets like EU and Japan primarily along with India/Brazil.

It was a very nice night in a quaint little tavern attached to a Firehouse, and tradition is if the Fire bell rings, everybody gets a round on the house to wish for the safe return of the boys. Wisconsin is a wonderful place.

Europe and Japan is a "mature" market for Harley where their usual bag of tricks with paint and chrome gets the job done and is more or less a stable market.

South America is a new and emerging market for HD, but the main hurdles there are marketing and logistics for which they operate out of Miami to cover the whole region.

HD has had a definite game plan for India for a while now, and they are serious about it. And it's not just about selling existing products.

It's hard for some people to like Harley because of their ancient bike technology and image. But whether you like their bikes or not, you have to hand it to them for helping change the Motorcycling scenario in India, particularly Superbikes. Without them, we would still be dealing with grey imports. They are doing a lot to promote SAFE riding in India. Cant think of any multi billion dollar Indian companies like Hero or Bajaj promoting safety in any manner at all.

Yes, they are doing all this to survive in a tough economy and it's all about the money, blah, blah. But then again, which Motorcycle company is not? The important thing is how they are doing it. Are they just dumping existing products here, or are they really making a difference with their presence?

Apologies if Off topic.

Cheers

Ride Safe.

Guys!!! Any info on what this mysterious bike is? Would love to hear someone confirming it a Harley.

An acquaintance of mine working with the marketing team at HD denied the bikes to be from their stable. Though this denial could be a part of the strategy to keep things under wraps until formal launch.

It looks like a Hyosung GV650 to me. They might have changed the rear end to resemble a V-Rod (They are infamous to copy popular designs ) and some changes for Indian market. Any thoughts?

Spotted the twin cruisers again, this time on Gurgaon - Jhajjar road.
The mystery continues....

I don't think there's any more mystery connected to those bikes. Those must be definitely Harley's. Not just a 500cc, even an electric bike is on the cards.

Check the link below. It's from the 110yr anniversary celebrations event.

Would be great if you can post some more pics.

In normal running, there was almost no audible sound. When revved, it did make some noise but that was in no way similar to the usual familiar one of HD.
