Big Scooter Launches in India

Does anyone have any definite information as to when the higher-displacement, big-wheeled scooters will make their way into the Indian markets? There are many models that keep making appearances in auto-expos and press releases, but there seems to be no definite timeline as to when they will actually be available. Also, what about the three- and four-wheeled varieties such as the Yamaha Tricity or the Mahindra Peugeot Metropolis?

Kinetic Blaze was a big dud in the market. It was a brilliant scooter with respect to ride position ,power and the comfort. Sadly there were very few takers for it. The current owners are finding it hard to source components for and not to mention the poor re sale value. I doubt if any big scooters will ever come to Indian markets. Indian scooters manufacturers mainly target average commuters who are conscious about FE and the luggage space.
