Bike with 315 kilos of Gold = $1 million

Bike with 315 kilos of Gold = alt= million-2013jul300830341.jpg

Saw this but IMO, the bike looks really bad.

On related note, I do not like bikes/ cars that are not driven. In my book, a well used and well love beauty is worth a lot more than an pristine vehicle. For all its looks, an unused figoni et falaschi is simply not what it was meant for.

Dont think this bike will see much riding!

I have a similar bike outside my garage. The rust pattern and the fenders are a little different though. Don't know how much that'll go for!

Well! It looks ugly and If I had this amount of money to spend, I'd probably zero in on a Confederate Hellcat!

Keep revvin'

But, why is it so expensive? Is it built with some rare metals?

In this case, it's a 125bhp, 1.8-litre V-Twin with a six-speed gearbox that's pushing along 315 kilos of gold.

Beauty certainly lies in the eyes of the beholder.

I think the build is awesome. The craftmanship and attention to detail is extraordinary. It definitely looks sea worn and unless someone tells you that all those dirty yellow rusted looking stuff is Gold you wont know it. Genius!

The chopper is built just for records. Somehow he made a working model out there from gold, that should be appreciated.

For every oddity, there is a buyer somewhere. I am sure he has already struck a deal with someone to sell this.

IMO, there is no point in putting together a bunch of precious metals and making a vehicle more expensive.

The expense should be in the technology, performance, design etc..

Who would drive a bike that powerful and fast. Person sitting on it will be blown away. :-)
