Hmm. Looks like a CBZ with a pulsar 220 fairing.

Guys, looking at this pic don't you think the rear of the bike is somewhat disproportionate.
Pardon me as I'm watching it on my mobile screen. But still, this is outright ugly.
Or is it photoshopped?

Floating/bikini rear mudguard? Sure shot recipe for rattles in our riding conditions. Doesn't even look like abs plastic!

I would like to go with outright ugly. They are surely experimenting, but this is quite absurd. But, would still like to see the rear end with naked eye, not much can be said on this pic.

This is where expertise shows. When they had Honda on board, they had winners on their hands. Now it looks like they have completely lost it!
I mean, even Aston Martin puts Volvo switches in their cars but they do it with aesthetic finesse! This looks like a jigsaw puzzle of a dinosaur put together by a 3 year old!
Come on Hero!

I want to correct the above statement a bit!

Agar Sab mein hai Hero, tab dont work like Zero!

The bike looks OK OK but that floating rear part is like what they tried with the Hunk and the rear grab rails look like a lift from the P220.

Same old MRF Nylogrip C and I guess it is 100/90x18.

I was great fan of Hero Honda, and my dad still uses a splendor, which I had rode all the way to Ooty and Kerala from Tirupur, to and fro so many times. I was such a great fan of their engine and gearbox. I loved the CBZ and the first gen Karizma, even the Hunk was OK which was owned by one of my friend and then there is nothing at all. But I feel Hero needs to do some market research and check out what their competitors are coming up with. Oh come on ! Very much disappointed.

Re: Scoop! 2014 Hero Karizma ZMR

Compared to this Frankenstein bike, the mojo appears to have regained its mojo! Really ugly and makes me think fondly of the FI ZMR which i detest due to its oddly shaped rear. Front from a mixture of Hyosung and other influences. Rear looks like its lifted from discover ST

Wonder how the engine will be and at what pricing it will be introduced. No doubt they will introduce it as a premium bike with four(?) headlamps. Atleast it looks like two bixenons can be plonked in that headlamp assembly easily.

Re: Scoop! 2014 Hero Karizma ZMR

The Karizma ZMR looks nice as it is. They shouldnt' have made it look like a sport bike from the 80s. I feel they should launch a naked/street version of the Karizma without the fairings..

Re: Scoop! 2014 Hero Karizma ZMR

There's more waiting. check these out. looks like hero's painting plants are malfunctioning. or, is it the designers' brains playing a joke on them?

They are expecting the scooter below to take on the activa. LOL

And knowing Indians who just love heromotocorp, it pains now to think that we'll have to see not just 1 or 2 but tonnes of these things plying on indian roads pretty soon!

Oh my... what have they done? That looks totally wacky, I think its better when Hero does upgrades to bike with just a sticker job, this is just horrid.

ZMR's proposed headlamp looks like borrowed from a locomotive!

The old Suzuki-ish headlamps looked really nice. Is this how their "all new" 2014 bikes will be? - I hope not because already the brand Honda is out of the equation, now one does not want a funny/bad design ruin things further.

Oh Yes, you're absolutely right! Anything and everything they have launched has been lapped up by the Indian Consumers!! Special Editions, Sticker Jobs, 'Pro' variants, '+' variants; Hero has the ability to sell absolutely anything! They do have market presence and a huge fan following- I have to hand them that!

That 'white-blue-white' sandwich Pleasure looks very comical indeed but I'm sure all the teenagers will head straight for that as it will 'differentiate them' from the everybody else!
