That was the last piece available.
Wonderful find. Does that include helmet lock as well? If you don't mind can you please post a pic of the lock set?

It's a set of 3 (ignition, side lock & tank lock) Helmet lock is nearly next to impossible. Also got a front mud flap, packed in 1997 (Escorts Yamaha)

Re: Restoration - 1997 Yamaha RXG

Hi Mr. Boss
Nice restoration process. Am sure it would come out well . take your time.
My brother in law's friend is selling his RX135G , 1996, 90K kms done for about Rs 25K. though I haven't seen it, its a single owner original bore. Thought of seeking your help to check whether its worth that price & also could you please tell about availability of spares of RX135G.

thanks . Ananth

25k for 1996 RXG? Can't comment on the price without understanding the current condition (mechanically as well as aesthetically)
Also how about the documents? Is it live?

Genuine spares are still available (except for few critical parts)

Sir, the RXG is a great bike too, you will be more happy with RXG emblem. The pics clearly show your dedication and love in restoring the bike to such details then why give a different name to your beloved bike. For all I know this is by far one of the best RXG restoration's I have seen.
