Pulsar180 / Karizma / Apache

Hi Team,

I'm just going to buy a new bike this month. But i'm a bit confused among Pulsar 180, Karizma and apache. Some of them told me not to buy Pulsar180 coz it has some problems, is it true? I like my bike to be good lookin and showing high perfomance. Pls help me out! If u are suggesting any bike, pls let me know the best colour it suits in. Also, pls let me know the best colour of karizma after RED. That's ALL!

Bang-for-the-buck : Pulsar 180
Best overall : Karizma
Best 150cc (IMO) : Apache.

The Apache is in a different segment altogether. If you can afford the Karizma, go for it. If you want the same performance, but want to spend less, the Pulsar is the one.

with Rtech........

Pulsar no problems as far as i know off.. the black series looks quite tempting, same with apatche..

karizma very honestly lil over hyped, maybe if the price was low, then again i think they already reduced it right??

you'll hear something about every vehicle. don't think there's anything wrong with the karizma or the 180 pulsar. you just can't go wrong with either of them. buy what strikes the head/heart (whatever is more important to you, many on the forum go with the heart).

@faris006: the reported mileage of ZMA is 30-35 so taking the worst case scenario if 30kmpl is ok with u, dont even look back

I felt that Karizma is a bit too colorful for a macho bike..

Pulsar 180 - Black rules man!

Get the Karizma or the Pulsar 180. Both of them are equally powerful, but the Karizma is more comfortable IMO. Zig-zagging thru city traffic is a bit tuf due to its length, making it less flexible compared to the Pulsar.

But its more relaxed at high speed, and is sure footed too. Mileage is 30-35kmpl depending on the riding style.

Karizma man....the new 180...is nowhere close in performance to the 180 dtsi v1...ferget the zma...acceleration is decent but nowhere close...
practical commuting=pulsar 180
stylish riding-zma...

PS-mileage 32-35...expensive spares.

I suggest..
why not wait for a couple of months and take a look at the new bajaj 220 cc DTFSI. I thought the bike if priced b/w 75 to 85K would be a great value for money. It features a lot of firsts and am totally impressed with all that the bajaj guys are offering in this bike. Only wish the guys have concentrated on getting the engine refinement right the first time.
