TVS Star City + launched at Rs. 44,000

TVS Motor Company has launched the Star City + motorcycle in India. It is available in two variants - ES (electric start) and KS (kick start).

The Star City + uses a single cradle tubular frame chassis with a telescopic fork suspension at the front and coloured, five step adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear. The bike rides on 17-inch, black alloy wheels.

The bike's instrument cluster features an analogue speedometer and a digital display for the fuel gauge and odometer. Additionally, there is a service indicator and an econometer.

Powering the Star City + is a 109.7 cc, single-cylinder, EcoThrust engine that develops 8.4 PS @ 7000 rpm and 8.7 Nm of torque @ 5000 rpm. The engine is couple to a 4-speed transmission. Stopping power comes from 130 mm and a 110 mm drum brakes on the front and rear wheels respectively.

TVS has priced the Star City + at Rs. 44,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
