Rumour: Yamaha's low cost Bike & 115cc scooter coming up

Hi.

Its been in the news since 2013 that Yamaha is planning to develop a bike that would cost less than even our automatic scooters! Going by some of the stories on other websites, the low cost bike will not get a small sub-100cc engine since Yamaha believes that, "smaller bikes with smaller engine do not have good balance". Source

Since then, its been over a year and finally a news has surfaced that Yamaha might launch the new bike in 2015. Going by this post, Yamaha will start its new plant this year and will launch the bike and a scooter in next year.

Really wonder what Yamaha is upto, but it seems that they're finally taking the Indian market seriously and beyond R15.

Note - I couldn't find anything on the 'low cost bike' from Yamaha so thought of starting a new thread. Pardon me in case something on the same has already been posted.
