re: Suzuki Inazuma - 1000 kms Report. EDIT : Now sold

After putting continuous pressure on the Dealer, I finally got the check. Suzuki was helpful, but dealer was trying to delay the payment to roll them money I guess.

Refund Amount was 1 Lakhs. Lost the 10% road tax paid on it though.

Finally you got it - GOOD.

Most of the time, it's the Dealer's who are the Culprit's.

The same thing is with Honda too. Honda Dealer's are like Mafia, since there is huge demand for Honda Scooter's, they take the Customer's on a Joy ride. I'm forced to use these words, but can't help - The Dealer's try to ROB you all the time.

It's the roll over money or Cash Flow - It's plain robbery. They tried to hood wink you, but finally gave in, since you're smart enough to take them to task.

High time Government comes up with a Separate trial courts on the lines of Consumer Courts, exclusively for cases related to automobiles....

@4x4addict: Awaiting your further experience with the Inazuma. You must have completed over 3000kms now. How has been your experience so far?
We haven't come across any other Inazuma Owners/Riders sharing their experiences with the Inazuma.
Maybe the price cut has not helped in more Inazumas getting sold. Dont see these in Pune much, as compared to the other bikes.
Please @4x4addict come up with your further account of the continued renzedous with the Inazuma.

I believe the price was slashed a long time ago!

I've booked the Zuma.

Had been extensively scouring the net on reviews & ownership reports. The number of Indian owners seems to be low & finally bumped into this thread. This review & a couple of test rides (and a niggling P200NS), sealed the decision.

At Chennai, the on-road price is 2.46 L.

Congrats !!

But, don't you think it's readily available. Or is there any waiting period?

In any case, wise decision. Getting What you Want without much fanfare.

It is. And they were booked. Mine arrived yesterday. I guess it'll be delivered by Friday.

re: Suzuki Inazuma - 1000 kms Report. EDIT : Now sold

I test rode the Inazuma and found it to be very comfortable to ride. The front felt a bit heavy when stopped but eases up soon as the bike moves.
It has the 'legs' for the course and won't run out of breathe unless one is in a suicidal mood on the highway.
I feel that Honda and Kawasaki should seriously consider making this sort of a bike for the commuter - tourer segment. It could bring variety to this segment and drive prices down to 1.6 - 2.0 lakhs.
That, in my opinion, will set the cat among the pigeons.

Yes, Honda should probably look at bringing back it's CB series of street & standard bikes, with modern engines in the 250 - 500 segment like the CB1100.
