Well, I am not a fan of the Bajaj either due to many reason. I'd rather not mention them as they are irrelevant in this context (don't get me started on the speedo-error). But I don't have anything against the whole p220. But what I can't stand are the fanboys. I do have friends who own 220s and I've tired many of them too. They are actually comfortable and service and spares are cheap too. Kudos to the Bajaj. They're trying everything possible and without loosing the focus on pricing it where anyone can afford them. Kudos to the Bajaj again. Are they becoming the new Yamaha, I can't really say because I am not really sure what you meant..
And by the way, It was news to me that Fzv2 has a closed loop Fi system. Well that's the thing about Yamaha. They don't really leave any loose ends. Perhaps an open loop fi could have brought down the cost at least by significant margins. We'll wait and see if it raises any issues and if it should, its cost of repairs. |
