Re: Royal Enfield Bobber Project

yes BOV, project is close to completion. just sent for paint today.

i decided to get a concealed bearing for the neck. the springer is pretty heavy and to that you add the Avon tires it made it very ungainly. got the bearing sorted out now the front end handles like a real pro bike. really happy with that adjustment.

The seat is from a company called Sinister (USA based). Its basic leather but looks really good with a small sporster tank.

Re: Royal Enfield Bobber Project

Very nice execution for a bobber. nice setup, nothing outlandish. Proportions look nice and doesn't seem like a jugad.

Beauty! I like the execution. The seat really gels well with the build.

This bike begs for a proper pro photo shoot - do treat us with some nice Hi-Res images.

Re: Royal Enfield Bobber Project

thank you All!!

yes the bike handles really well, I was absolutely sure about one thing which is handling. it does not matter how pretty the bike looks but if it rides like a brick then its no good. the most I have travelled is about 60km at about 70kpm and it handles it well.

the seat is a "sinister seat". its comfortable but in a true bobber style not too comfy which works

here is another pic from the other side. hi-res pics coming soon!.

I started with a new 2013 RE classic 500cc so still have the same papers.

not been pulled over by a cop yet so don't know to be honest.

Re: Royal Enfield Bobber Project

The bike is an absolute beauty man! Kudos on a job well done. This is the kind of thing RE should be looking at as well instead of just repainting existing models and selling them in different names.
