Re: Hero Impulse...after an Enfield Classic 500?

KTM 390 adventure bike is not coming, 2015 or may be 16 they are going to launch 690 adventure model. What about picking used Impulse and planting Karizma engine? Many are running around in Bangalore, few upgraded to Imported 250 cc dirt bikes front forks and rear shock.

I found the 200 more enjoyable in the city simply because you will rarely be able to use the 390's true pulling power which lies post 7000RPM!

@man_of_Steel,

The fact that you will have so many instances to use that post 7k rpm makes it different. The 200 almost wants you to keep shifting up and down more compared to 390. Atleast for me.

Its like letting it ride till 10K RPM or close to it. And you hardly have to switch gears even when you find roads for there is a whole spectrum of RPM left to make use of the current gear

To me 390 is better for my style may be
