radial brake callipers?

hi guys i wanted to know more about some of these components found on super bikes.i wanted to know how are radial brake callipers better than the traditional ones's and also what exactly are radial master brake cylinder's mounted on the front lever and i guess are a relative new introduction!!! also one last question- what is meant by dry and wet clutch? can someone please throw some light on alll of these? thanks all.
