Re: Report & Pics: India Bike Week 2015 @ Goa

Amazing pictures!! And an awesome wit too! I love the way you captioned certain photographs; they had me grinning like a complete idiot. Many many thanks for the hours you must have put it to create this beautiful piece for all of us who could not attend this years edition of the IBW!

Very nice pics and great writeup. You have loads of patience in giving comments for each pic also!

Nice to see Blackjack there. Last met him at Rider Mania some years back.

Hard to pin-point a single show stopper, but the Benelli Amazonas and Aprilia Caponord had me ogling on more than a few occasions. The customized bikes by Moto Exotica and TNT were intriguing too.

Not sure about the final footfall, but there must have been at least 10,000-12,000 people coming through on each day.

Re: Report & Pics: India Bike Week 2015 @ Goa

Huge thanks on behalf of the guys who couldn't make for the event.

Excellent report with wonderful photos

The photo with both street triple and Z800 waiting for the dyno run makes me curious to know what the results were (with the recent Triumph mess ). Any info or details on that ????

NOTE: By the way, why it makes more interesting about the photo is also about the Triumph sales guys alleging how Z800 also had far lesser BHP than what was claimed.

Re: Report & Pics: India Bike Week 2015 @ Goa

Keep writing Tushar Sir!! Excellent coverage. As I have mentioned in other threads, it makes me feel like I was present throughout the whole event. Wonderful photography too--purely a treat for the eyes. Truly, bikes capture our souls like nothing else, no matter how much we love our more 'convenient' cars.

And yes, one of my favourite bikes was present-the KTM 1190 Adventure R. Its a bike which I have to buy someday.

5 more years to go until one of my dreams come true--riding my Dad's Bullet to the IBW and RE Riders' Mania.

Cheers,
Neel

Re: Report & Pics: India Bike Week 2015 @ Goa

Excellent coverage and fantastic reporting. Very informative as well.

Pictures capture the essence of the whole event and gives the reader complete perspective of the event. I felt as though I was actually present at the event.

I liked the classics' section the most. All those old war horses look to be maintained in pristine condition. Was there a parade of the classics as part of the event??

Only grouse is the dust covered on all these beauties and all over the place.

Thanks and rated 5*

Nope. Didn't get a chance to catch the results. The bikes were chilling on the dyno for quite a while, so couldn't stick around for the test runs.

As per the schedule there was one on day 2, but I never saw the bikes leave the tent. Can't say how many of them were in running condition.

The bikes we're brought in by the PowerDrift team who was shooting a feature - its only fair that they get to spill the beans!

It was like watching a great dream. Could spend all day looking at each on the superbikes. Missed the event this time.

Re: Report & Pics: India Bike Week 2015 @ Goa

Thanks for the great work and patient briefs for every bike that there was.

Couldn't see more than half way through as my internet here is agonizingly slow. Will bookmark this thread for the weekend.

5 stars.
