Engine noise

G'day guys...

I'm a newbie here. Also a Pulsar newbie. Bought an all-black Pulsar 180 just Nov. last year. I've been mostly careful with it in the initial months & I have changed the engine oil initially every 500 kms for the first 1500 kms and then once every 1500. Odometer now shows 5500 odd kms.

My question is: Is it just me or is the engine is really noisy with those tappet & timing chain noises?

The bike runs really well & I have immense fun zooming through Hyd traffic... I'm not missing my peppy little KB100 so much... so it may be that I'm just being finicky?
